About Tidy Tails

Kristen has been in the grooming industry for over 13 years! She attended a veterinary academy only 100 students a year get selected for in high school. She then went on to refining her grooming skills and stepping into the competition ring where she fell in love!

 

After training with some of the most prestigious groomers in the country, traveling to almost every grooming competition in the US, and receiving multiple awards she went on to be nominated for a Barkleigh Award of Up and Coming Groomer for 2019 (which is considered an Oscar Award amongst the competition grooming community). Kristen continues to better her education and skills traveling to private lessons, seminars and grooming competitions. She specializes in hand scissoring  and has extensive knowledge of the AKC breeds as she shows her own dog! A Kerry Blue Terrier named Vendetta.

 

In her down time she enjoys her horse Mozart who she also competes with in Jumpers, along with going to Fast Cat, CAT, Barn Hunt, Scent Work, Agility and lots more with her dogs she grows her exotic reptile collection that includes tarantulas, snakes and lizards!
